‘The Leaves of Southwell’ are one of the three best examples of 13th century naturalistic carving in Europe. The Cathedral commissioned Studio Eger to design new interpretation materials across the Minster, as part of a restoration project funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, including a set of three guidebooks: ‘The Leaves of Southwell’, ‘A Short Guide to Southwell Minster’, and ‘The Quire Carvings’.
Each is accompanied by stunning photos, including laser scans of The Chapter House, and a stunning series of botanical drawings by the artist Sarah Simblet.
